Welcome to the new and improved Dr. Tavel website!

In the 70 plus years Dr. Tavel has been open, we have provided families across Indiana with high quality, yet affordable eye care products and services.

While this is a huge accomplishment, we know the optometry world is changing, due to the digital age. People are spending ten hours a day on a screen, switching to buying glasses and contacts online, using prescriptions they received from who knows when.

We don’t plan on selling our glasses online, and we don’t plan on increasing our prices. It is our mission to continue delivering outstanding levels of customer service and long-term customer satisfaction to our patients.

You will find on our new website: new brand name frames, new promotions, easy to navigate locations pages, the largest selection of insurance covered frames and a new online scheduling experience, FAQ page, and insurance pages that show the benefits.

We have revamped our social media and look forward to engaging with our loyal patients and sharing their experience with the rest of our team. All the pictures featured on our website includes local models and our real doctors. We are teaming up with local Indiana influencers and celebrities to create an ever more exciting feed and stories on eye health and how you can improve your vision
