As an Optometrist with Dr. Tavel, you will oversee providing patients with the gift of sight and educating them on optical wellness. This role will conduct exams, diagnose medical conditions, and prescribe lenses that best suit the patient’s needs.


An Optician serves as the trained guide for the patient’s eyewear journey. Using insight from the optometrist, the person in this role helps patients understand and select the best eyewear for everyday life.

Ophthalmic Technician

An Ophthalmic tech acts as a right hand for the office optometrist, gathering patient insight and providing preliminary exams.

Lab Associate

A lab associate supports the custom manufacturing of glasses in our family-owned and operated facility. This role leverages optical technology and skilled hands to bring patient eyewear orders to fruition.

Patient Service Representative – Success Center

A Patient Service Representative serves our patients and our office associates by scheduling appointments, working customer service cases, and doing the support tasks required to ensure that everyone has a great experience; those attending Dr Tavel for eyecare and those working for Dr Tavel. The Success Center is much more than just a call-center – it’s the source of patient and employee success!
