It’s been a rough year, and the holidays might look a little bit different for a lot of us. Amid all the changes 2020 has brought, we wanted to know what our team members are thankful for right now and express our gratitude for each and every one of them. From good health to family, here is how #TeamTavel gives thanks:

It’s been a rough year, and the holidays might look a little bit different for a lot of us. Amid all the changes 2020 has brought, we wanted to know what our team members are thankful for right now and express our gratitude for each and every one of them. From good health to family, here is how #TeamTavel gives thanks:

Dr. Larry Tavel,
President

“This year, I am incredibly thankful for the support and dedication of Team Tavel. Family is more important than ever during this unprecedented time, and I am grateful to be surrounded by incredible team members who have been – or recently became – part of our Team Tavel family. Without their support, we could not continue helping Hoosiers see better, look better, and feel better.”

Mollie Tavel,
Director, Growth Initiatives & Community Engagement

“I am so grateful for everyone’s adaptability! We’ve been able to adapt our business, our teams, and our protocols to continue serving Hoosiers safely and effectively during this pandemic. And I’m also grateful for Zoom & Microsoft Teams — without which, most of this adaptability and flexibility would have been more challenging”

Melissa Francis,
Optician in Training, Lafayette Rd.

“I’m thankful for a new grandson and two older grandchildren that are each amazing in their own way.”

Dr. Judy Walrath, OD,
Director of Professional Relations

“I’m thankful for my health, family, and friends. I’m thankful that I work for a company I believe in and that supported us during this tough year.

Andi Dockerty,
North Region Supervisor

“My son was stationed over seas in the army. He spent time in three different countries, received his combat badge, and a promotion. He has returned to the United States and will be home for the holidays this year. ”

Taqwyah Peggins,
Inventory Specialist, Frames Department

“I am thankful for my kind and loving spirit, the ability to connect with just about anyone in all age groups, being able to have a positive impact in the lives of others whether it is big or small. I am thankful for the power to forgive and to love people unconditionally.”

Jenny Chavez,
Success Center Leader

“I am thankful for the opportunity this past year to be at home more with my family and connect with them on a deeper level. I am also very thankful for the freedoms given to us because of this beautiful country we live in. Finally I am thankful for everyone at Dr. Tavel and the ability I have had to stretch my skills and develop new ways to grow our overall customer service department.”

Jay Dalton,
Director of Operations and Training

“I am thankful for my kids and the support of my family and friends.  I am thankful for my Southport Youth Football coaches, families, and players for all their support this year.”

Chris Miles,
Office Manager, Muncie & New Castle

“I am thankful for all my friends’ and families’ health this year, and to work for a company that is helping all of us get through this together.”

For over 80 years, our commitment has always been focused on helping Hoosiers see better, look better, and feel better. Even though 2020 hit us with some uncertainty, we still focused on making this a year of healthy vision. From our family to yours, thank you for choosing Dr. Tavel. We are optimistic about what 2021 has in store!

Happy Thanksgiving!
