{{{image-468}}}Ah yes, Halloween. The magic… The mystery…. A time when it’s acceptable, and encouraged to look foolish (although some seem to do that on a daily basis). Where the hardest decision is how much of a fool you should be. For years, Halloween costumes have reflected the past years events and characters in pop-culture. Here are a few ideas for those still riding the fence on what character to dress up as this Halloween.
The Summer Blockbuster Look
It seems like ever since the very first Batman movie in the early 90’s, Hollywood has managed to release a super hero flick every summer, and with the exception of Comic Book and Video Game conventions, the only other acceptable time to dress as your childhood super hero outside of your own home, was and is Halloween. One good thing about super hero movies is the fact that most of them usually have a trilogy, which means, if you {{{image-513}}}splurged on an Iron Man or Spiderman costume last year, you can always recycle that costume and where it again. And if you go to a different Halloween party than last year, you may be able to claim another victory in the costume contest.
If you are looking to start fresh this Halloween, consider the characters from Alice in Wonderland. Let’s see, which one could you pick? Oh, I got it! The Mad Hatter maybe? Don’t be surprised if you see kids and adults dressed like the character played by Johnny Depp this Halloween. The one thing that will definitely make your Mad Hatter costume stand out more than your friends, will be Wild Eyes Premium Contact Lenses from Dr. Tavel (be sure to schedule an eye examination with an eye care doctor first). The Mad Hatter’s eyes grabbed everyone’s attention including many children so if this costume is kid-approved make sure your child gets a children’s eye exam and Wild Eyes to complete the look!
Other Block Buster costume ideas this Hallowee are: Twilight characters, Harry Potter, your favorite Pixar character, or Robin Hood.
