Glasses wearers in our society definitely have a leg up on other job applicants according to the study’s findings as in the U.S. glasses are understood to be worn by intelligent, quiet, and honest people. Traits many bosses are looking for in employees. And as portrayed in movies, glasses are often associated with nerdy characters or smarter individuals. I like glasses as they can dress up or down an outfit but I have never needed a certain prescription so haven’t had the chance to have them as a fashion accessory just yet!
