When first activating your Indiana Medicaid plan, coverage for vision and dental is not immediate. It can sometimes take 60-90 days for those benefits to show up. Only the medical part of Medicaid is eligible for immediate use. Not sure when your vision plan is active? Give Dr. Tavel a call. We will look it up for you.
