Now that I have survived Black Friday and getting all the gifts for my kids out of the way, I am now focusing my attention to the older family members and friends. Although I am a creative person, I tend not to use my creative powers in the shopping world. If a gift doesn’t scream out, “This is perfect for big sis”, then I find myself writing a check and stuffing it in a Christmas card the day before Christmas.

This year will be different, as I will be purchasing gift certificates and gift cards for those hard-to-shop-for people.

Gift Certificates, like those available at Dr. Tavel, are the perfect gift. Known by name as Taveler’s Checks, they are available in any amount and are very practical.

You may know someone who doesn’t wear glasses and wonder how they would use a gift certificate. Dr. Tavel has a wide selection of non-ophthalmic glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses and accessories. You don’t need astigmatism to get blinded by the sun on your way to work, nor do your eyes need to be giving you problems to get a yearly eye exam by a Indiana board-certified optometrist.

Taveler’s Checks are also available online and can be delivered from the doctor to your doorstep™. So instead of just giving your family member a $20 check in a card, give them the gift of better vision with a Dr. Tavel Taveler’s Check.
