Making a difference. Three words we hear often in our society be it on the evening newscast, in a community newspaper, or from a personal role model the message is clear-help others, especially those in need. This act of helping others is ever important and vital during the holidays.
This holiday season Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care is proud to be teaming up with United Way organizations across Indiana to serve those in need. We hope to fill as many bins of food as possible to fill hearts (and stomachs) of those in need this holiday season with the Dr. Tavel Holiday Food Drive.
All 20 of our Indiana locations will serve as drop-off sites for can and dried food goods and other pantry items starting today, November 15th through December 15th. Items collected will go to agencies associated with the United Way directly helping the communities our offices serve.
Here in Indianapolis, food items will benefit the Julian Center which helps those affected by domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other life crises build lives absent of abuse. Food items will help stock the Julian Center food pantry.
A list of needed items can be found HERE. Any size donations are appreciated. Together we can make a difference this holiday season! Let’s fill the bins to fill hearts!
