Best Eyeglasses in Indianapolis at the “You Don’t Know” Video Shoot

What a weekend! It seems like I was stealing sleep and trying to get power naps in here and there. Between hosting Friday night couples Wii, helping my mother move into her house, and taking the kids to multiple birthday parties, one of the highlights of my weekend was assisting for a video shoot for a local Rap artist I am working with, A.R. Boogie.

Boogie’s new song, “You Don’t Know” is an up-tempo, radio-friendly, rap /r&b medley which I produced with my partner “Slick” who was the director/camera man for the video. We started shooting around noon Saturday up until 1AM Sunday. The pool scene, which was the longest, was shot at a friend’s house in Avon. We, including Boogie, all wore Dr. Tavel Purifier polarized sunglasses while filming or acting in the video.  They (Purifier polarized sunglasses) blocked all annoying glare from the water and pavement while shooting which made the images look crisper from the filming side of things.  While the actors loved the glasses as they looked Phat (they were wearing Phat Farm glasses exclusively at Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care), were able to see without squinting, and the Purifier polarized lenses also blocked harmful UV-rays protecting their eyes.

Later that evening we all met up downtown at the White Castle down the street from Lucas Oil Stadium to shoot the 3rd scene of the video. After scouting for the best location to shoot, we decided to set up shop on Monument Circle. We unloaded all of the lighting, music amps and cameras and managed to find the perfect shot in front of the fountains. I had forgotten how pretty the circle was.  Some of the actors were wearing the best eyeglasses and sunglasses in Indianapolis to complete their looks.

After about 2 hours of shooting, we had gotten enough footage to call it a day (or in this case, a night). The next step is the video edit. I think this will prove to be a great video. I will keep you posted on where it can be viewed once it is completed.
