Eye Do Eye Don't March 2011
The month of March is the first sign of the long awaited spring. Although March is known for crazy weather here in the Midwest, the days of deep freeze are hopefully behind us. We spring ahead this month and gain an hour of sunlight, we go mad this month for basketball with March Madness, and while some of us start spring cleaning others take a spring break.
Eye Do and Eye Don’t writers have caught spring fever and will debate this month about the exciting season of spring!
March 13th will mark Daylight Savings Time here in the Midwest where we will spring forward an hour and get an extra hour of daylight. How will you spend that extra hour of light?
Katie |
- Eye Do love the sun and having more daylight outside! Eye Do appreciate an extra hour of light especially this spring as I train for a mini-marathon and need to put in extra miles of running typically after work so this extra light will be beneficial. |
Brian |
- Eye Do like daylight savings time because it allows me to play outside with the kids more. When it starts getting even warmer outside we will play basketball into the later hours of the night so this extra hour of light will be valuable for our fun family time. |
March=Madness in terms of basketball. What teams will you be rooting for this month?
Katie |
- Eye Don’t like Michigan as I hail from the land of the Buckeyes! Eye Do support the Scarlet and Grey this March Madness as well as the University of Kentucky Wildcats. I bleed blue! |
Brian |
- Eye Do love basketball and March Madness. The team I’ll be rooting for will be the Maize and Blue, University of Michigan. Eye Do think they will make it to the Final Four. |
What will you do this spring, clean or take a break?
Katie |
Eye Do love to clean and will be making my rounds of cleaning this spring to be ready to eventually take a break! |
Brian |
Although I have several things to clean (my office being one) Eye Do plan on taking a spring break with the family to somewhere close by to relax and take a break this March. |
